Josh Rhodes

As Upward’s in-house millworker, Josh lives by the motto “measure twice, cut once,” which explains why he says he’s been working here exactly 1.2 years. But it’s his sunny, can-do attitude that makes him the perfect fit for Upward. Or, as he describes his job: “You need it, I make it.” A native of Gardnerville, NV, Josh’s love of woodworking started as a hobby before turning into a full-time career crafting all the custom furnishings, fixtures, and nooks and crannies that make each Upward Project so fun and unforgettable. Outside the mill, Josh can be found hanging with his kids, and otherwise being “just a dude navigating time and space.”
